I remember my Grandpa saying to me as a child "remember who you are." I had to think about that for a few minutes. Who was I? Beth once approached her father and she asked Him, "Daddy who am I? I know I am a girl and I know my name is Beth. But who am I really? She had been asked that question by her high school teacher, who inquisitively expected an answer. Her father answer, Beth you are a child of God. She acknowledged that answer and it became a guiding principle in her life. If you know who you are then you know how to behave and what to expect. So we ask the question, Who are you! I mean who are you in the deep sense of the word? What value will live on with you if you die today ! This question seems very simple but it is a question many have struggled with in history. The answer to this question can bring meaning and purpose to life. A life lived with the value of no value is a very sad and very unfulfilling
Are you living for this world and only the things this world has to offer - then this is as good as it gets, but if your living for eternity this is the worst it will ever be. As children of the living God there should be no fear and no intimidation. Believe it! the very best is yet to come and it will be the best forever. - that is a long time in comparison to you short stint on earth. This is because of gift of grace ( unmerited favor )! The forgiveness of sin and the gift of salvation ... Forever ...and folks that is long time! This all sounds so good! And it is a gift which brings peace, joy and purpose into your life. Why everyone doesn't chose to reach out and accept this free gift from God is beyond me. It is believing and trusting that Jesus died a horrible death on the cross and shed his blood for your sins to be forgiven ....that he was buried and on the 3rd day. And whoa, up from the grave He arose conquering death itself and He currently is preparing a place for us in heaven. You may be feeling the tug of the spirit of God and want to say yes Jesus. You may be tired of living for yourself and you want Him to be the "boss" of your life. John15:5 Friends! Jesus will be returning very soon the victor and as King of Kings. It is all about trusting and believing, but some do not, and even some others are antagonistic and viciously opposed to this message of hope. Why? You tell me. The Christian message is full of peace, love and joy. And yet because it is a free gift we are all given the choice to accept or reject it. Why some reject it I don't understand but some of the most intellectual of our day do. It is a decision of faith and the heart not the just the intellect. For those who accept Christ as their savior, they receive a new identity They are now children of the most high God. Who are you? The answer will matter for eternity. John 1:12 Charles Spurgeon the famous preacher said, " A child of 5 if Properly instructed can as readily believe as any adult." In fact the Bible makes it clear that we must become as little children an humble our selves to become a Child of God. Romans 8:16 When you minister to children as we do - we see they are so open to the move of the Spirit of God on their lives. That is why ministry is blast! we get the privilege to minister in the most fruitful mission field and yet the most neglected. Children! Matthew 18:14 Salvation is a gift from God. God is offering it to you today... Just accept it and make Him Lord of your life ..you will never be sorry! Message us if you want to know more about the eternal choice of a lifetime. Ministry is a blast
