An Amazing Gift of Choice

The Masters Amazing Gift of Choice.

1.The incredible gift of choice:

2.The consequences of choice:

3.The final destiny of choice:

John 6: 66,67,68,69 ---

“Even the disciples went back and walked no more with Him.” They had been with Him seen His miracles

It has never been an easy road… Many have walked away …. Jesus asks also “Will you go also?”

Revelation says That in the last days even the those who know Christ will make a choice not to stay!

Going our own way always ends in sorrow!

2- Choices have consequences –

Our father in heaven created us in His image then empowered us as his creation to make choices.

Adam and Eve in the garden crippled the power but did not destroy it. Choices were first presented in the garden. Even when we were perfect in God sight.

Multitudes died in the flood during Noah's time because of wrong choices. “Even so today now in Noah's time…”

Moses - chose to hit the rock rather than speak to it as God had commanded – wandered for 40 years and was not allowed to go into the promise land.

Samson – Chose to give up his God given secret and died blind and with the temple imploding on him as he used his last ounce of God given strength

David - Chose to follow the steps of lust and adultery and murder to back his lies – only to see the curse of death upon his family.

Ancient Nations – the story of the nation of Israel.

Peter - chose to deny Christ

Judas – Chose to give up the Son of God for 30 pieces of silver – died by hanging himself

Jesus- Choice was Gods Choice

The Churches in the book of Revelation – Laodicea Church the Church of Phillipi.

Before one is saved: our only choice is damnation

Impossible to make the right choice. Christ is not living in you. The Bible says you are blinded to the Truth.

You and I have been given the ultimate choice of choices – no choice more important in all the world.

John 3:16 “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes will have everlasting life.”

Christian living;

II Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; and behold, all things become new.”

Devotion to Christ is a daily choice.

Don’t defend our flawed character….. and hang it all on grace. Trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.

We need to confess our inability to make right choices and wise choices without the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. God almighty is the only one who can supernaturally transform our character to make the right choices after we are saved.

The way God has chosen to help us make right choices as Christians is to:

Awaken our conscience

Access His Word

Activate the Holy Spirit within us.

Accepts you into His throne room by prayer

3-The destiny of our choices – home with Jesus and other loved one who are one in the spirit.

Or one of deep sorrow……………………………………………..

All this and choice too….Wow! What an amazing God!
