JUST BY CHANCE

The Pilgrims set sail for America on September 6, 1620. Braving the elements, they traversed the threats of the ocean as they traveled "to the new world". Upon their

arrival at Plymouth Rock, the first thing they did was pray. They faced very harsh winter conditions and many died. The pilgrims were surprised but We know God was in His soverignty he provided an Indian, Squanto, who had been kidnapped and taken to England much earlier. And ( JUST BY CHANCE) , came back to live in the New World. Squanto (JUST BY CHANCE) lived with the Pilgrims and accepted their Christian faith. Squanto taught the Pilgrims how to farm and much more. ( JUST BY CHANCE) Squanto helped to bring about a long-lasting peace treaty between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians. Pilgrim Governor William Bradford described Squanto as “a special instrument sent of God for [our] good . . . and never left [us] till he died.” "JUST BY CHANCE"

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?” (Romans 11:33–34).

God is working everyday in our lives and in our world. Without that we would be lost and live in a very confusing world . We would face everyday with the crumbling foundation of chance... We thank God we don't live our lives by chance - but instead under the guiding hand of our Father in heaven.
