Easter... He Has Risen

The Advantage Of being a Christian. Easter 2017 I thought I would write this as a blog of thanksgiving and challenge. Thanks for what God has done for me and my family. We are Christians and Easter is such a blessing and special time in our lives! A challenge for those yet to experience this precious gift of salvation a gift freely given to all who will believe on the name of Jesus. A gift of forgiveness of sin and a loosening of the bonds of shame and guilt. The ultimate of gift of your life time and eternity God himself rather than a life time controlled by Satan and the eternal pain and suffering of Hell itself. I guess my question for you is... If not, why not? Read the book of John in the Bible this month. Read John 3:16 - Ask God to reveal Himself personally to you today! There are so many advantages to being a follower of Christ! Romans 8:1-31 Romans 8:9. We have received the Holy Spirit Romans 8:11. We are made fully alive in Christ Romans 8:15 We are adopted into His family Romans 8:17. We are co-heirs Romans 8:18- 23. We have a glorious future Romans 8:26 We have the Holy Spirit interceding and comforting us. If God is for us who can be against us. God is with us and we cannot be separated from Him. " I will never leave or forsake you." No need to ever fear separation from God. Fear robs us things and possibilities! We have Victory if we chose to accept and believe it. This is Fact of Gods Word. Charles Spurgeon - God has a plan. "...if it is Gods wisdom why should I try to escape it." A.W. Tozer "To fear and not be afraid, is the paradox of faith." Jesus says it all when He says, "I am the way, the truth and life." Jesus said I am. Do you believe that? Christianity is the only religion that states the Supreme being is LOVE. All others are angry, hateful and needed to be appeased. Jesus made the ultimate sacrafice for our sins. Believers are special objects of His love. Jesus Christ far surpasses what the world promotes as ethics... He is a personal redeemer. He paid the price as a substitution for our eternal death and separation from God The Father. Our Faith is based on the claim of resurrection of its founder. All other religions cannot claim this or they would court deep failure. None of them are confronted with the empty tomb. THE VICTORY WE HAVE IN JESUS IS TOO BIG FOR US TO KEEP FOR OURSELVES! Here is just few of the rewards; 1. Happy, purposeful, lives. Lives with Meaning! 2. The Big Change. Lost to found - separated to united. 3. Guilt and shame are no more. Sins past, present and future are forgiven and cast as fas the east is from the west to be remembered no more. 4. Hope for the future. 5. Peace and comfort in the midst of lives challenges and trials 6. Heaven and eternal life with God starting now Romans 8:38-39. Nothing can separate us from God. 7. Death and suffering will go away. The sting of death and suffering has been overcome.
