I Am Not Able To Be A Supreme Court Justice...How About You?

The Bible has Great stories with examples in it. It is the story of the adulterous woman found guilty and the Jewish leaders standing over the shuddering woman, who in fear tremble as they present her to Jesus in the temple. The story quickly escalates, as the church leaders pick up stones to stone her to death. Jesus comes on the scene and begins to write something in the sand and one by one the attackers lay down their stones and walk away sheepishly . The Bible doesn’t give us the words exactly as God’s son wrote them for them to see. But.... Did God write the names of some prostitutes these men themselves had visited? Is it possible He wrote a recent sin each of them had committed? We know he did say, “let anyone without sin cast the first stone.” It also says in John 8:9 “When they heard this, they all left, one by one, the older ones First. Jesus was left alone with the woman, still standing with her." They heard the voice of God as the spirit of God pricked their conscience. Interestingly, they never submitted and repented, but instead just walked away. They left from the eldest to the youngest. What did Jesus see in the eyes of the woman? Fear, pain and deep sorrow. Then Jesus compassionately and with a heart of forgiveness reached down into the hopelessness of her sin and loosened the trap the devil had set and set her free. He redeemed her. There were two kinds of people which we too often find in the halls of government, in the board rooms, and even in the churches. Those who are the pretenders, and those who are truly guilty or at least presumed guilty. Those who are quick to charge and even punish others without first looking at themselves in the mirror of TRUTH. Satan is good at shaming us while we condemn others for the same sin. The fact is he is the great deceiver and you and I have been deceived. You sanctimonious senators - you too. Sin is a horrible thing we all live with. I am wretched and so are you. You sanctimonious senators, you are as well. And unless we recognize that we will be lost and eternally separated from a perfect and loving God. Maybe it’s time for reflection and review of your lives and then time to repent and turn away from sin. Jesus, God’s Son, wants to say the same thing to you he said to the woman prostitute... "Go and sin no more.” He stands ready to forgive you and me. He loves us. The Bible in John 3:15-17 Living Bible says, “ so that everyone who believes in Him May have eternal life. For God so loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that who ever believes in Him should not die but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its Savior. Whoever believes in the Son is not judged; but whoever has not believed has already been judged because he has not believed in God’s only Son.” As we and you sanctimonious senators, yes you, point your knurly fingers remember that whenever you do that, one always points, but four more are pointing right at you. Think about what you have gone on record voting for. Think about how you made these decisions and how they are totally against God and how responsible you are for the state of our nation and it’s people. You have allowed the snare of the devil to enslave the people of America. This is what awaits each of us including you sanctimonious senators - yes you too! Your hearts will be opened before a mighty God, and God will deal with all of us justly in the SUPREME COURT of heaven itself. Thank God for sending His Son to die on the cross. He was buried and 3 days later, He arose and conquered sin and death. He is now reigning in heaven preparing to return anyday to take those who believe and trust him to heaven. No US Supreme Court Justice can judge your case. No political contributor will make a big enough donation. No hearing room with sanctimonious senators will make a difference. It will just be you and God. He will know all, see all, and be all. The reason I say that I cannot be Supreme Court Justice is because I am not perfect. If one were to look at my background, or yours, we would all probably struggle to see perfection, that’s you too - you sanctimonious senators. But through Jesus' sacrifice we have been made perfect before God. How about you? Stop destroying the foundations of society ...stop destroying a man and his family. Stop obstructing; stop and look at yourselves - you sanctimonious senator, yes you too. You will stand before God and by the looks of many of you, it will be very soon. Praying for you and America. In 1 Corinthians 4: 3-5, Paul states it so well. He says, “Now I am not at all concerned about being judged by you, or by any human standard; I don’t even pass judgement on myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not prove that I am really innocent. The Lord is the one who passeth judgement on me.... Final judgement must wait till the Lord comes; He will bring to light the dark secrets and expose the hidden purposes in people’s minds.”
