You are Uniquely prepared for the task. Just as God uniquely prepares you for a specific task, He uses you to turn obstacles into opportunities. God loves His people. You have unique qualifications and unique talents, given to all of us by God almighty Himself. The question is not a question of need, it more a question of are you burdened and are you going to be obedient? God uses you as an instrument to make a difference. It all starts with willingness and an understanding that the fields are white to harvest. The shortage is never the harvest, it's the workers. The fact is, how will your involvement bring glory to God? God Himself will help you to prosper in the ministry He has for you. How many times in your Life have you had a burden on your heart to pray about? Some of you are blessed with organizational skills, others may be fabulous writers. Others are leaders with the ability to inspire, others are gifted with teaching skills. Some of you are business leaders, some of you are extremely good with money, and some of you are so talented with technology. There are some of you who are so musically talented, some of you are engineers, others artists. Some have been gifted to know, speak, and write another language, which could be used to reach the tribes and nations of the world. Some of you are good with hospitality and gifted servants willing to do whatever needs to be done. Some of you have been on boards and some of you are connectors ...you name it -there is opportunity to use your gifts and talents for God’s glory. You could use your world influence for the Kingdom. God has given you so much to give when you think of the eternal picture. I trust God will show you where you fit it the ministry tapestry he has woven, with so many individual strands and differences, all needed for the picture to come to life. I walked the intricate wood inlaid floors, which were covered with the canopy of high ceiling, and a labyrinth of majestic hall hewed stone castles in England and Ireland. These landmarks stood out as the manicured lush green outdoors framed these mansions. The libraries were magnificent with books from the ceiling starting just below the ornate wood molding and extending to the floors. I remember the stately pieces that hung on the walls among huge oils. There were so many fabulous tapestries - woven art. When no one was looking, I turned a corner up to look at the back side of the masterpiece. I had always heard, but had never seen for myself what the artist did to produce such a fine piece art. Have you ever compared the front and the back of a tapestry? The front is art and a beautiful and refined picture. The back is mess, strand after strand of yarn, all different and varied, all going in every direction. God has created us all different, but the longer I am involved in ministry, I recognize God has entrusted each of us with a strand in his overall tapestry, which He is weaving according to His design and desire. Unfortunately, most people see life as an opportunity to make some money and then retire. The first step is to recognize that God has a much bigger plan. If we all understood the gifts and talents God has bestowed on each of us, and that we can be used for His kingdom while working within the secular world or retired. There is joy in serving Jesus. The reward in heaven awaits those who do, but never forget there is a blessing right here and now. 7qp
