Ever Ask Yourself- Why In The World Do They Think Or Act Like That?

You don’t understand the human condition. This is the cry of many human hearts. There are some who choose not to recognize the human condition and even believe human nature is actually improving. Stop and look around. Is the world getting better? Sin is destructive and we are human. The human condition plaques us all. No one is pure and good, Holy and sinless. We are all sinners. We all fall short of the glory of God. "We" includes me. Sometimes, people in the church today think of the differences between "them" and "us" when we approach sin. We think of the world as sinners and somehow the fact that we are all sinners is inescapable. We are hopelessly and helplessly locked in our sin. There is right and wrong, absolutely. The great deceiver, Satan, is doing his best to convince people that they are not so bad and collectively attempting to plant the lie that mankind as an “evolutionary being” is actually improving and getting better in every way. This explains why society in general thinks false doctrines like socialism and the "Laissez Faire" approach to morality are correct. This highlights much of what we see all around us everyday. It explains that much of what we see as common sense and logical experience is being so mutated. The practice of no interference and individual choice without regards to absolutes are more apparent everyday. Society and the church today are confronted with the sinful nature of man. The question is, are we going to ignore it and think man can overcome it with their own power? The rise of harsh authority, even genocide and murder,in order to bring about perfected societies. It has been attempted over and over as authority and totalitarians attempt to eliminate opposition to their belief of what they see as Utopia, hoping to achieve a perfected and sanctified society without God. The Bible is very clear when It says, “ I am the way, no one comes to the Father but by me.” That is an absolute. That is period. Ephesians 2:1-3 "And you were dead in your sins and trespasses, In which you formally walked according to the course of the world, According to the prince of the air (Satan), of the spirit that now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we to all lived in the lust of our flesh. Indulging in the lust of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest of us.” Jeremiah 17 : 19 says, “The heart of man is desperately wicked ( deceitful ) and above all it is sick, who can understand it.” Wickedness is built into the heart of mankind. It is only when you believe (trust) in God and the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, confess your sins, and ask for forgiveness of sin that you are given the power of God’s Holy Spirit, living in you to overcome sin in your life. Will you still sin? Yes you will, but not without the power to overcome and conquer sin. You will see sin as something that deeply hurts and breaks Fellowship with God. The Christians “bar of soap” can be found in I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
