How To Raise Successful Kids The children of today may well do in excess what we as adults do in moderation. The effects of parenting will long effect the children of tomorrow. What we as a society accept and practice in moderation, the children of tomorrow will practice in excess. The future is in desperate need of revival. Today’s children from the sixties are leading our country and making decisions that affect us all. Keys to producing the next generation of failure. The snowflakes of tomorrow. Make sure you always disagree with authority; teachers, police and firefighters. Tear down the military and tell them how unjust America is. Refuse to attend church for any reason and especially reinforce the word hypocrite. And if by chance you do attend church, roast the pastor on the drive home. You can also teach them the church shuffle by moving from one church to another all because you think it's not the best one for you. Make sure your whole world is them. Always put them ahead of your spouse and show them what commitment is by getting a divorce. Never make it hard for them. For sure never make them walk or take a bus.... be at their beck and call all the time. Whenever they need money for the most expensive phone give it to them. Cater to their every whim and never ever say no...they may hate you forever... and that would be extremely hard on you. Always tell them they are special and that they are entitled, rather than give them any responsibilities. Heaven forbid you tell them and teach them the value of hard work. Oh yes and reward your 6 year old for throwing a tantrum in the toy aisle.. And don’t forget to say one thing and do another. Lie in front of them; this will show them that the truth doesn’t matter. Tell them Evolution is a truth and expect them to value life. The keys to producing honorable and successful children Most of all love them as Christ loves you. Teach your children the truths of God’s Word. Teach them to live their lives under the umbrella of Godly wisdom. Teach them to think and act right and honorable in a world that is trying to win the battle for their soul. You and I must live the values first. There must be intentional actions to protect your children’s minds and hearts. We must make right and wrong very clear. Teach your children to how to deal with peer pressure early. Finally, share the truth of gospel with your children. Give them an opportunity to believe in and trust in Jesus as the Savior from their sins. Teach them about the unconditional love of God for them. Teach them how to be holy as God is Holy. From this the foundation to teach these is firmly set. 1. Responsibility - courage 2. Honesty and Integrity 3. Loyalty 4. Commitment 5. Value of hard work 6 Thankfulness and gratefulness 7. Kindness 8 Giving and care 9. Civility 10. Modesty There is battle for soul of the children. Your children and grandchildren will grow up in the worldview that wins. What’s it going to be? God or godless? The most important of all questions - Will your children be in heaven with you for eternity? Proverbs 22:6. “Train up a Child in the way he should go and he will not depart from it.”
