Integrity Quotient

Integrity Quotient A quotient is defined as; a degree or amount or a specified amount or characteristic. Living a life of Integrity and building your life around integrity. Psalm 112:1-10 It is all about Character, values and beliefs. How are you doing at; Telling the truth? Keeping your Word? Showing up on your time. Managing your money? Doing your job. Sharing credit? What is on your Internet browser history? How is your conversation about others? How are you in your giving? Managing your emotions? How do you respect other people? As an added question for Christians: How is your prayer life and Bible study? How are you serving others? I know as I answer these questions, I am struggling with some of these. So I write this as much for myself as for you and for our country. We are watching the deterioration of so much today because Integrity has fallen to the bottom of our priorities. Americans lack of truth and integrity is causing deep divide and chaos. We must remember our country, our churches and our businesses are made up of an aggregate group of individuals who must ask the question: What part am I playing in the disastrous lack of integrity that seems to be sweeping our across our land? Solution; 1. " Fear of the Lord". ...There is a God and I am not Him.. I am not the center of the universe. If it becomes "me" oriented, there is a God to whom I am accountable. Wholeness is a personal relationship with Gods Son, Jesus. In Greek or Hebrew, Integrity is described as truth, completeness and wholeness. Not only is He the center of the Universe, but also the center of my life. Integrity is a moral compass delighting in what is right to do in every situation. Every time you encounter a person, you have a choice on how will you treat them. Will we treat them well? Or will integrity take a back seat? 5 Actions you and I need to think about: 1. Be Gracious and humble. Choose to be pleasant. 2. Be a person of compassion. Choose to come along side another person. 3. Be righteous. Choose to be a person of right doing. 4. Be generous. Choose to give and serve. 5. Be fair minded. Choose to be just even handed. Thank you for the inspiration for this blog Pastor Terrell!
