Be more knowledgeable than the rest!

Be more knowledgeable than the rest! Establish yourself as both knowledgable, flexible and wise. Learn to be a conduit of value. Just like electricity passing through the electrical conduit, to where it will eventually turn on lights and start machinery producing great new things; you too bring the electricity of life to the source. Always strive to be someone worth knowing and listening to. Always listen first and then dig into your well of experience and knowledge. Ask pertinent questions and answer with well thought out answers. Remember always there is a distinct difference between knowledge and wisdom. The Bible draws a clear distinction between the two. The Bible says, the fear of the Lord God is the beginning of wisdom. This not the fear we think of when we hear the slogan - No fear! It is an awe and respect for God and His ways above all else. This is where wisdom separates from general knowledge. Is the knowledge concurent with Gods Word or is it man trying to be God? Wisdom, according to the dictionary is "the ability to discern or judge what is true, right and lasting." Knowledge on the other hand, is information gained through experience and human reasoning. James 1:5 says, "if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given You." For the Christian we are blessed with the opportunity for wisdom. We need to ask God to reveal through His gift the Holy Spirit, Wisdom. He promises us this gift; just ask. Proverbs 1:7 does warn us about the fools we will encounter along the way. It says, " The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Mans formulas and knowledge is foolishness to God. Today we are faced with a question..." Where is the wisdom we have lost in all the knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?" - T.S. Elliot
