Iconic opportunity The opportunity to change lives for eternity and change the world. The market is unlimited; the rewards are out of this world. What opportunity and what cause is greater? We have the largest children's ministry organization in the world today..if we locked arms something more than amazing could happen! Leadership is about selfless heart ...humble but strong. A great leader leverages the strengths of the team to accomplish the vision of focused leader. Play to your strengths and find people to fit into the areas you are weaker. A leader is an influencer and is best when he or she is inspiring others. Leaders see the possibilities and coach others with the passion of their hearts to see and connect to the vision. There are three past presidents that were known for three famous sayings they placed on the Oval Office desk. One was from President Harry Truman, it said "The buck stops here." This was meant to indicate that he as a leader did not pass the buck or responsibility on to anyone else. He took responsibility for the consequences of his governing. This is also narrative of leadership in general. Another message graced the desk of "the Gipper", President Ronald Reagan. On the famous resolute desk were the words, " There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go, if he does not mind who gets the credit." Right next to it was another sign that said, "It can be done." Leadership is being bold and visionary, but also humble enough to recognize it will take the help of others to achieve great things. A shared vision where each team player can see their parts lead to greater success of the "whole". This great leader and President, John Quincy Adams had some big shoes to fill as he became the leader as the sixth President of this great experiment, the United States of America.. He said, " If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, and do more and become more you are a leader." Leadership is necessary to energize, engage and marshal actions of others. There is opportunity all around each of us ...Enthusiasm and passion can lead to Iconic opportunities, but it takes a leader to identify them. His or her passion will draw them to the door and their willingness to work will drive him through the door. "When a great moment knocks on the door of your life it is often no louder than the beating of your heart."
